Leadership

HCC believes that God has gifted each partner with qualities to accomplish the purpose of His church. We desire to encourage and equip each other to take leadership roles that will distribute the responsibilities of being an active body of Christ in our world. HCC expects all partners to grow in servant leadership in their home, church, and community as we work together to become disciples who make disciples.


4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 1 Corinthians 12: 4-7

25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:25-28)
